Snow covered roadways in Castle Hill in northern Maine on Tuesday, March 8, as scattered snow showers were forecast for parts of the state that morning. This video filmed by meteorologist James Sinko shows snow blanketing the landscape in Castle Hill as the sun rose on Tuesday. “A beautiful sunrise on yet another wintry morning here in the county,” Sinko wrote on Twitter. The National Weather Service said scattered snow showers would occur across the region that morning, with localized snow accumulations of up to an inch possible. The service said northwest winds gusting up to 35 to 40 mph would cause areas of blowing snow that would reduce visibilities and could affect motorists. Credit: Meteorologist James Sinko via Storyful
