Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) posted footage of damage caused to a multi-storey residential building in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district early on February 25. The SES said the damage was caused after a military aircraft made impact with the building. Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko said the damage was caused by rocket fragments and that three people had been critically injured. Video circulating on social media early on Friday showed a large explosion over Kyiv. The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear.
