2GB Radio Host Luke Grant says it was “so untidy” for Liberal MPs to cross the floor to vote alongside Labor on amendments to the religious discrimination bill.
It comes as the legislation has been shelved indefinitely, with only three Senate sittings left until an election is expected.
“I thought it was disrespectful for those of us around Australia who lean to a conservative side of politics,” Mr Grant told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Obviously, the prime minister can’t pull them into line because if he had, that wouldn’t have happened.”
