A cold air mass carried lake-effect snow showers to the shores of Lake Ontario on Tuesday, February 8, threatening parts of upstate New York with several inches of accumulation, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. Video taken by Joseph Frascati shows snow falling in Rochester on Tuesday morning. The NWS said areas east of Lake Ontario could receive up to four inches of snow accumulation by tonight.
