A powerful winter storm impacting the US Northeast dropped several inches of snow overnight on New York City into Saturday morning, January 29, with more expected to fall throughout the day. Footage from Storyful’s Rob McDonagh shows conditions in the Greenpoint neighborhood of north Brooklyn at around 9 am Saturday morning. By that time, more than 5 inches of snow had been recorded at LaGuardia Airport in Queens and at Central Park in Manhattan, while more than 10 inches had fallen on parts of Long Island, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
