Selling agent Fayez Yammine of Devine Real Estate Drummoyne said apartments with private beaches didn’t come on the market very often in the area despite the suburb having a few major stretches of waterfront.
“You do get the odd few that come up but there is never enough supply,” Mr Yammine said.
At the time of publication, the property was the only apartment with a private beach listed for sale in New South Wales.
Mr Yammine said he had received interest from first home buyers, downsizers and investors alike, with 20 groups walking through the apartment at its first open.
The apartment has an open plan living and dining area that opens to a balcony. The main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe while the second bedroom opens to the outside. The building also has secure parking, a common pool and a pontoon.
Mr Yammine said the property was in a sought after neighbourhood in east Drummoyne.
“It’s a popular part of Drummoyne. You’ve got Birkenhead not too far away from there and a ferry whalf, while being convenient to Victoria Rd shops and transport.”
